A Treasury of Memories

Kathy Condie made a such an impression on the lives of many people. This blog presents an opportunity for everyone to honor her life. Our goal is to create a treasury of memories of Kathy. Please feel welcome to comment on this blog about the ways Kathy touched your life. In two or three weeks, we will have a book printed of these gathered memories and give them to her husband, John.

Kindness

When I think of Kathy Condie, I think of her unfailing kindness.  She so willingly helped others and spoke with gentle words.   I admired not only her kindness, but also the patience she had for the primary children she taught. To me, she embodied the attributes in this poem from The Friend magazine.

Kindness
Kindness looks for ways to help.
Kindness lets a friend go first.

Kindness tries to keep the peace.
Kindness never thinks the worst.

Kindness plays with everyone.
Kindness gives a loving touch.

Kindness speaks with gentle words.
Kindness never takes too much.

Kindness cares and kindness knows.
Kindness shares and kindness shows.

I'm so glad to have known Kathy.  I will never forget her beautiful example.
